The East Willamette Valley wine-touring area is a rewarding alternative to the busy north-central part of the valley's wine country. Scattered mostly to the east of the I-5 corridor between Oregon City and Silverton 23 wineries and tasting rooms, many in bucolic settings, open their doors to visitors looking for a wine-route less traveled. Adopt a leisurely pace and wander country back roads through farm lands and vineyards to wineries and tasting rooms.
Be sure to confirm tasting room hours and days as you plan your itinerary; hours tend to change with the seasons, so call ahead. Generally speaking, East Willamette Valley wineries are open on the weekends, some more and some less.
